About Us - Our Goals
We have actively been involved with Paso Fino horses for over a decade.
The school’s mission is to help the student grow through educational and
sporting activities, while achieving the following goals:
Experience the pleasure of riding Paso horses, the smoothest breed in
the world.
Study the horse to achieve the horses maximum potential.
Grow in human values; respect, confidence, discipline, concentration and
self-control by practicing the Paso horse sport.
Develop equestrian skills to be able to ride the Paso horses with the
finest equitation and gait consistency.
Enjoy a wonderful experience with the extended family of other Paso
horse enthusiasts.

Credentials and Experience
An enthusiast of horses
since the age of three.
Graduated with honors from
Universidad Nacional de Colombia (Medellín) as a “Zoo-technician” in
1989. His thesis examined the physics of Colombian Paso bits.
After graduation,
manager/consultant to over 50 medium to large size Paso horse farms
throughout Colombia.
Founder and director of
three Paso riding schools in Medellín, two of which are still operating.
Professor
of “Producción Equina” (Equine
husbandry) at Universidad Nacional de Colombia and Universidad de
Antioquia in Medellín, Colombia.
Writer of dozens of articles about Paso horses for different international
magazines.
Writer of the book, “Caballo Colombiano Ciencia y Arte” in
Spanish (20 chapters and 362 pages) in 2001.
Coach of 28 riders of the Colombian Paso equitation team in 2002 for the
Fourth CONFEPASO Youth Mundial held in Medellín, Colombia.
Accomplishments in
the United States
Instruction Director of
Ocala’s School of Equestrian Art – Paso Horses in Ocala, Florida
(USA), since 2003.
Judge of the American Trote and Trocha Association.
Clinician/judge at horse shows/events to promote Paso horses in the United
States.
Coach of the USA Paso equitation team in 2006 for the Sixth CONFEPASO
Youth Mundial held in Kissimmee, FL. (USA) and for the Seventh
CONFEPASO Youth Mundial held in Medellin, Colombia in 2008.
Writer of the book “Science and Art of the
Paso Fino Horse” (18 chapters
plus appendices, 330 pages, over 350 photos) in 2007.
